What we collect

Price alerts. If you sign up for a price drop alert we store your email address and the product you asked about. We use it to send you that alert and nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share it. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address at any time by emailing hello@amit.marketing.

Nothing else. This site has no accounts, no logins and no shopping cart. We do not ask for your name, address or payment details, and we never will.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which products people actually look up, which is how we decide what to track next. It records the page you viewed, a rough location derived from your IP address (truncated before it is stored), and general device and browser details. We do not use it to build advertising profiles and we do not sell data. Google's own explanation is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Cookies and advertising

This site carries advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites, and Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on that activity.

You can turn personalised advertising off in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors' advertising cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Neither this page nor the affiliate disclosure carries ads.

What advertising cannot do here is move a price. No advertiser can buy a position in a table, a "featured retailer" slot or a better ranking, because the build itself refuses to sort by anything except price and refuses to publish a price without a date on it. That is a property of the code, not a promise.

We store one item in your browser's local storage — your light or dark theme preference. It never leaves your device, and it is not a cookie.

Outbound links

When you click through to a retailer, that retailer's own privacy policy applies. Some outbound links carry an affiliate tag that tells the retailer the visit came from us; see our affiliate disclosure.

Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020

If you are in New Zealand you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, and to have it deleted. Email hello@amit.marketing and we will respond within 20 working days as the Act requires.
