Outright price, not a carrier plan
Every price on this page is the outright cost of the handset — what you pay to own it today, unlocked, with no contract attached.
That is deliberately different from the number carriers advertise. A $49-a-month plan over 36 months is $1,764, and the handset portion of that is rarely broken out. Comparing an outright price against a monthly one is how people end up paying several hundred dollars more without noticing.
If you are considering a plan, take the outright price here, subtract it from the plan's total cost over its full term, and you have the real price of the credit you are being offered. Sometimes it is genuinely good. Often it is not.
